I have been teaching group fitness for almost ten years. I am a licensed YogaFit instructor and a Mind Body Specialist certified through the American Council on Exercise. I have always said Zumba was my first love, but Yoga is my soulmate. My Yoga classes are all levels, and I have a passion especially for those at the beginning of their fitness journey. I am so excited to be a part of the Just Move family!

Melissa Thies Almager

Melissa Almaguer has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry.  She began her career of fitness instruction in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was certified in Step, Kickboxing and General Fitness by the Exercise Safety Association of America.  After her family relocated to Akron, Ohio, she worked for the YMCA where she continued her education with certifications in Yoga, Pilates and Cardio Dance.  During this time, she was also able to travel to teach children and teens at Cardio Dance workshops in Columbus, Ohio, at Tripleforce Dance Academy.  In 2011, her family relocated to South Bend.  In addition to teaching cardio dance and yoga classes at Stanley Clark, Melissa also teaches Body Combat, a mixed martial arts fitness program at Ice Athletic Center in Mishawaka.  From weight training, to yoga, to dance, Melissa’s passion for fitness and nutrition has lead her to wanting to help others learn how to make health a priority in their own lives by finding the activities that they most enjoy.  

Tabbitha Ashford

I was introduced to group fitness in 2011 during graduate school and have since earned certifications in TRX, Schwinn Cycling and hold an AFAA Primary Group Fitness Certification; I've also attended numerous workshops pertaining to bootcamps and high intensity interval training. I’m currently pursuing my 200 Hour Yoga Certification through YogaFit and I’m so excited to share this journey with the amazing participants at Just Move! One thing that I ask all my participants to remember is that fitness is about being the best YOU that you can be!  My biggest thrill as an instructor is to witness a participant make the transition from “I can’t do that” to “let’s do more”. My classes provide participants the opportunity to overcome their biggest obstacle: themselves! Workouts are designed to meet each participant at his or her level.
